About Maine House

Maine House is a vision, a vision given by God years ago to raise a Christian fellowship of Music Ministers who are charged to deliver His Worship in diverse ways including deliberate acts that show our hearts, how much we are to love Him the way He loves us and build our communities to know and love Christ.

Fortunately, when the vision was conceived, I had a lengthy dream which drew the roadmap for the vision.  I was serving (NYSC,2012) in Abia State then. At daybreak, while scribbling the vision on a paper, I received a call from a friend in Lagos who informed me he had a dream overnight and he downloaded the same script I had just seen to me. If I hadn’t gotten that call, I’m sure I wouldn’t have followed up completely because at the time I was a mess, Ill-health of 13 years was all I could think about getting out of. I didn’t even have the strength to run any vision but I was chosen and I had to follow.

Maine House started right about that time, but I couldn’t hold on to the members because they were all corpers. When I got back to Lagos, I totally ignored it for years, late 2015 after going through surgery removing my right Kidney, God reminded me why i was poor, sick and stuck. I restarted the vision, spoke to some incredible worshippers (Benedicta Nzemeka, Victor Dan Albert, Olamide Emiko, Chidera Okah and Dara Lasisi) who are now family. These people have stuck with the vision by continually preparing for its manifestation. We all are members of the Choir with the Youth arm of the Fountain of Life Church in which I was the Music Director. It’s here now! We love Jesus, we want the world to know Him…love Him, do His will and worship Him even when it hurts. During this period God has been faithful. The ‘process’ was been tough but we didn’t flunk out of the examination. I have had the solid backing of my wife who has succeeded in helping to hold it all together at the times when things got really hard.

Our Joy daily is to see lives change for good by knowing Jesus Christ, experiencing His love and being overwhelmed by it. My name is Oladayo Owoeye and I can’t wait to visit communities with the team to share the message daily.
