✝️ Devotional Message
Monday mornings have a weight to them, don’t they? The emails waiting. The meetings ahead. The targets unmet. The relationships that need mending. The assignment that still feels too big. And into all of that — into the full reality of your Monday — the Apostle Paul speaks this audacious declaration: “I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Now here is something important that Andrew Wommack consistently points out about this verse: Paul wrote it from prison. Not from a mountaintop. Not from a season of breakthrough and abundance. He wrote it from a Roman jail cell, in chains, with an uncertain future. And yet the declaration stands — not as wishful thinking, but as a theological fact grounded in the indwelling Christ.
The word “can” in this verse is not about possibility. It is about ability. Paul is not saying, “I think I might be able to manage.” He is saying, “I am empowered. I am enabled. I have the capacity — and that capacity comes from a source outside of my own natural strength.” This is the difference between human optimism and Spirit-empowered confidence.
Flourish Peters teaches that you must never measure what God has called you to do against what you can see in your own hands. The question is never, “Do I have enough?” The question is always, “Is Christ in me?” And if the answer is yes — then the strength you need for this Monday, this meeting, this moment, this mountain — is already in you.
Do not go into this week looking at the size of the task. Look at the size of the God inside you. He who raised Jesus from the dead is at work in you — right now, this Monday morning — energising, enabling, and equipping you for everything the day holds.
You are not going into Monday alone. You are going in with the fullness of Christ. And that changes everything.

Lord Jesus, thank You that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. I refuse to face this Monday in my own ability. I draw on Your strength right now — the same resurrection power that conquered death. Every task, every challenge, every conversation today — I face it through You, with You, and in Your name. I can do this. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
