This song, Na Ba Ka by Jeremiah Gyang is truly an ever green one. Every time you listen to it, you get that nostalgic feeling of the days this song was released.
It swept through the airwaves from the North to the West, then East and South of Nigeria. Though it was rendered in Hausa language, you can’t deny the soothing feeling the music gives you. Maybe because it actually a song that talks about giving God your life and everything.
Life can be tiring and burdensome. It’s easy to be weighed down by the vicissitudes of everyday living, but when you know you can call on a higher being to help you pull through and deal with those unseen forces, you get a sense of rest. The title can be translated to mean ‘I Give You’ and it features veteran rapper of Northern descent, Six Foot Plus.
