Finally, it’s time for a fresh single from one of UK gospel music’s probably most thrilling artists right now, Hannah Ola. The poised award-winning artist has a fresh masterpiece called Issokay, a personal favorite just because it makes your body move.
“I have sat on this track for a while, waiting for the right time to drop it. It’s the title track in my latest body of work (a banging six-track EP) produced by SMJ of the Tim Godfrey Rox Nation stable,” she explained.
“I wrote it after receiving unexpected bad news about someone else which was threatening to impact me. Crazy thoughts came flying until out of nowhere I started singing the chorus you hear today.”
Issokay can be defined as “Afro-pop with a touch of classic high-life African music.” It’s a fresh sound with a certain age bracket that seems to be very common and you’d enjoy it!
