The Olympic athlete and Dancing With The Stars contestant Jennie Finch has declined performing to a new Janelle Monae track, “Make Me Feel” saying that she cannot dance to a song that is sexually suggestive due to her Christian faith and desire to honour God.
According to Kansas City Star, Finch struggled with the song all through her rehearsals until she finally made a phone call to the producers stating that she was not ready to dance to a sexually induced track.
In her words Finch said, “It’s not what I’m about. I need to follow who I am and stand up for what I believe in”.
