American gospel and contemporary Christian music artist, two-time GRAMMY award winner and multi-platinum selling superstar Lauren Daigle will be making a major network TV appearance this week. Daigle will be performing her mega-hit “You Say“ on the ‘American Idol’ finale with the show’s Top 5 finalists.
The ABC singing competition show will air 8-10pm ET on Sunday, May 17th.
Daigle is no stranger to the show, having auditioned for ‘Idol’ in 2010 and 2012; however, she was eliminated before the semi-finals each year.
Her debut full-length album, How Can It Be, was released in 2015 and earned a No. 1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. In 2018, Lauren released her long-awaited album, Look Up Child, which debuted at No. 3 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and No. 1 on the iTunes all-genre chart.
Lauren returned to American Idol last season to serve as a special guest mentor for the contestants.
