Nigerian gospel music icon Asu Ekiye popularly known as the prince of Niger Delta who is also the crooner of the well known Niger Delta song “We Kowuye”, he has been appointed as a Special Adviser to Bayelsa State Governor on Entertainment and Culture.
The appointment was confirmed yesterday the 20th of June 2017 by the governor himself. This decision was a product of the governors belief in Asu Ekiye’s ability to reposition the entertainment industry in the state. Also, to spotlight the latent entertainment based gifting of the people of Bayelsa state to the world.
