CCM & Gospel Artists To Virtually Unite For 'Hope Rising' Benefit Concert April 19 1

Over a dozen CCM and Gospel music artists and leaders will virtually unite this Sunday (4/19) for a special online concert event set to benefit Samaritan’s Purse. The non-profit is currently assisting in treating patients with COVID-19 in New York City and around the world. Hope Rising kicks off at 8pm ET on Facebook Live with co-hosts Kirk Cameron and Candace Cameron Bure.

“My brother called me and he’s like, ‘We got to do this, but with songs that have meaning and purpose and actually give hope from the guy who gives us everything and provides it all and comforts us and helps with our worries,'” Candace Cameron Bure said of the upcoming event. “So, we got on the phone and started calling all of our Christian artist friends.”

The confirmed lineup includes music and inspirational words from: for KING & COUNTRY, Bishop TD Jakes, Franklin Graham, Matthew West, Gloria Gaynor, Casting Crowns, MercyMe, Newsboys, Natalie Grant, Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes, Lysa Terkeurst, Danny Gokey, Tenth Avenue North, Sanctus Real, Ryan Stevenson, Matt Hammitt, and Priscilla Schirer.

“It doesn’t matter what denomination you are, it’s just like come listen to this encouraging, great, wonderful music with your family and be lifted, be comforted and strengthened,” Cameron Bure added. “And that’s why we did it.”
