Media Statement From Mega – August 10, 2015

TITLE: MEGA 2015 MOVES TO NEXT LEVEL
Now, that day is over! The submission for entries into the 2015 Music & Entertainment Gospel Awards (MEGA) closed on July 31, 2015 – approximately two months after it was opened on June 1. The Nigerian gospel musicians, producers, video directors, among others, responded enthusiastically to the shift towards Online registration (especially on the awards website,www.megawards.org, and its email platforms).
Despite the challenges posed by network and technical hitches, the Awards witnessed a marginal rise in submissions by upcoming artistes in its third season. Notable figures also registered their presence, and therefore guarantee a large and strong pool of high quality works that will surely engage the full attention of Screeners and Judges.
Attached to this document is a full (though tentative) List of all Entries via the website, email and some hand-delivery. Interested Entrants are advised to scrutinise the List and make sure details of their albums, songs, singles, videos, events and profiles are properly captured. Complaints and clarification can be filled with the Administrator via (@tweet_megawards or SMS/WhatsApp 08182223348).
As indicated in the Entry package, the 2015 edition is for gospel works released or published between May 1, 2014 and April 30, 2015. The Awards Show will be taped before Live Audience on Friday, November 13, 2015 – at least, five weeks after Pre-Nominations would have been released for Public Voting on, at most, three platforms.
The Central Working Committee of ‪#‎MEGAwards2015‬wishes to thank ALL who submitted, and quite a number who tried with little luck or who heard late, God bless you all. Next year is at the corner. Thank you.
