✝️ Devotional Message
One of the most paralyzing lies the enemy plants in the mind of a believer is this: “You don’t know what tomorrow holds.” And technically, that statement is true — you do not know. But here is what the enemy conveniently leaves out: God does.
Before you woke up this morning, God had already been in your day. Before you face that difficult conversation, that uncertain decision, that financial pressure, or that health report — your Heavenly Father has already gone ahead of you into it. He does not react to your circumstances. He is never surprised. He never scrambles. He never says, “Oh no — I didn’t see that coming.”
This is not just theology. This is the practical reality of walking with the God who exists outside of time. When He says “I go before you,” He means He has already stood in the future you are walking towards and prepared a way through it. The word in Deuteronomy was spoken to a generation about to enter unfamiliar territory — crossing into a land they had never seen, facing giants they had never fought. And God’s answer was not a strategy. It was a promise: I’m already there.
Andrew Wommack often says that faith is not hoping things will work out — faith is knowing that God has already made provision for everything you will ever face. That understanding changes everything. You don’t walk into Monday morning with anxiety; you walk in as someone whose Father already prepared it. You don’t approach that hospital ward in dread; you approach it knowing the Healer arrived before you did.
Flourish Peters puts it beautifully — God does not call you to a destination without first being your companion on the journey. He is not watching from heaven hoping you make it. He is with you, in you, before you, and behind you. That is not a metaphor. That is a covenant.
So this morning, whatever you are facing — take a deep breath. Lift your eyes. Your God has already been there. He is not sending you alone. He has gone before you — and everything you need has already been placed along the way.

Heavenly Father, thank You that You are never caught off guard by what I face. Before I step into this day, You have already been there. I choose to walk in the confidence of Your presence today — not in the anxiety of the unknown, but in the peace of knowing You have already gone ahead of me. I trust You with everything I cannot see. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
