Port Harcourt based Worship Leader and Music Director Sista Mercie returns with a new collaboration in ‘Where Broken People Go’ Featuring Tarila Gbesimi and produced by Music Magnate.
Where Broken People Go is an inspirational single following up her earlier released ‘Engraved’.
The song reminds everyone to run to Jesus when they are overwhelmed by the pressures of life, rather than turn away from his presence in search of other means of help. It is an encouragement that all will be okay, eventually, or as we say in Nigerian parlance, “las las, we go dey alright.“

Lyrics:
I hear your voice, child
Calling me right before you hit the floor
And in the dark, you
Wonder why it’s all happening to you
You say, your heart’s gonna break now
It’s more than you can take now
But I know…
It’s gonna be okay, child
It’s gonna be alright, child
It’s gonna be okay
I know where broken people go
There is a rock, child
That can hold you when you’re overwhelmed
There is a stream, child
To make you glad when you are feeling blue
But you say, you’re not gonna make it
You’re done trying to fake it
But I know
It’s gonna be okay, child
It’s gonna be alright, child
It’s gonna be okay
I know where broken people go
(repeat)
If you come with all your labours
I’ll give you rest
When you come with all your burdens
You’ll find peace
If you come, just come…
Yes you’re gonna make it
Yes you’re gonna reign (in life)
You’re gonna be okay, child
You’re gonna be alright, child
You’re gonna be okay
I know where broken people go
(Repeat)
Your heart will beat again
You will smile again
Don’t be discouraged
‘Cause I know everything will be okay
Yeah
