It was a great honor on Sunday the 19th, when when Ooni of Ife with his Olori Wuraola worshiped at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCGG) Jesus House in Washington DC Ooni of Ife shocked majority of worshipers when he took the microphone and started singing and praising the Almighty God. The Senior Pastor of the church Ghandi Olaoye while welcoming the Ooni and his almost 60-man entourage described him as an ambassador of peace and harmony who is well loved by the people around the world. He also attributed his success so far recorded to his humility and dedication to the Almighty God who he has always referred to as King of kings.
In his short speech before the congregation, His Imperial Majesty expressed delights over the reception accorded him and his entourage. He promised to continue to work for the masses and always exhort God as the only King of kings who not only created him but has also done several unforgettable positive wonders in his life.
“Thank you so much for this warm reception for me and my people here today. I will always work for the masses and I shall never hesitate to continue exhorting the Almighty God who has been my only strength. He is the only King of kings and my creator who has done numerous unforgettable positive wonders in my life.
Yes, today is the fathers day but God is the one we all should be celebrating today because he is the only father of all fathers who does not eat our food or drink our wine, the only thing he expects from us is exhortations and we must not fail in giving it to him always,”the Ooni said.
Ooni Ogunwusi also charged the congregation to always place God first in all their endeavors to be successful in life as God does not fail anybody that believes in him and climaxed his speech with a praise song joined by the the congregation in singing
“I have a father that will never ever fail me, I have a father that will never ever fail me, Jesus is the father that will never ever fail me, Rock of Ages never ever fails,” Ooni sang.
On the entourage of the Arole Oodua to the church were his some notable Yoruba kings, kingmakers, Princes, Media personalities and a host of others.
