It was another historic time last night up till this morning at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Onikan Lagos as hundreds of thousands of people gathered for the 2019 edition of The Experience Lagos concert.
The event which featured the likes of Sinach, Nathaniel Bassey, Planet Shakers, Travis Greene, Eben, Preye Odede, Onos, Mercy Chinwo, Sammie Okposo, Tope Alabi, Chioma Jesus and may more was broadcast to millions of viewers around the world via cable television and internet streams.
Comedians were not left out as we were graced with the acts of Kenny Blaq, Akpororo, Forever and MC Abbey.
The high point of the comic performances was Kenny Blaq’s rendition of My WOrship with Phil Thompson with some weird “Worship after Worship” twist.
Prayers were raised to God concerning Nigeria, Lagos state, the church and the people and were led by Pastors from different denominations.
A beautiful rendition of the national anthem was then delivered by Segun Obe, Chee and Glowreeyah
There also spoken word performances by first-timer Nokwe and the evergreen Ay The Rhymer.
