On Friday, Tyler Perry shared a touching tribute video to Bobbi Kristina Brown via Facebook. Featured in the video originally shared on the day of her funeral, is a collage of photos of Brown, who passed away this summer at the age of 22.
The caption reads:
Playing in the background is Houston’s 1996 ballad “You Were Loved,” featured on the soundtrack of her movie The Preacher’s Wife. “I hope you feel my love, pain, beauty, agony at times, blessings all the time,” Bobbi Kristina is quoted as saying in the tribute video. “No one understands me. And I don’t expect them to, but I will try to spread my love and my story through words and this blessing of a powerful voice mom has given me.” As expected, the video quickly went viral, with over 100,000 views within an hour of posting.
Houston’s only child died on July 26 after being in a coma for several months after she was discovered unconscious in a bathtub at her Georgia home on Jan. 31. Her family is still waiting on toxicology reports to determine the official cause of her death. E! News learned earlier this week the case remains under police investigation.
