Saul instructed the messengers, “Tell this to the folk in Jabesh Gilead: ‘Help is on the way. Expect it by noon tomorrow.'”
?The people of Jabesh Gilead were under siege and the main objective of the siege was to bring a reproach upon them V2.
?They searched everywhere for help to no avail.
?They even tried hard to negotiate with their oppressors until the Spirit came upon a man named Saul who was angered in his spirit because of the situation & refused to negotiate or bargain with the oppressor.

And in V9, Saul sent words to the people saying, at noon tomorrow, help will be on the way…??
Just as Hezekiah’s words put “steel in the Spine” of the Israelites in 2 Chronicles 32:8 MSG…(He only has a bunch of mere men; we have our God to help us and fight for us!” Morale surged. Hezekiah’s words put steel in their spines.) Saul’s message too put steel in their spine.
✔Whatever has put you under siege, be it sickness, joblessness, unfruitfulness etc, wallowing in self pity would do you no good.
Get in the Word.✔
Let the Word of God put steel in your spine.✔
Challenge that situation.
Say no to oppression of any kind.✔
