Psalms 85:1b MSG (Part 2)
…You brought good times back to Jacob!
?
Job is another classic example of one who had a great come back.✔
?In Job 1v13-22, Job was plagued by one calamity after the other in quick secession. He became a man known for unprecedented setbacks.
?
In chapter 2v9, his wife even advised him to curse God and just get it over with. The depression, pain, must have been too visible.
?
The misery he went through was so unimaginable and horrific.
He lost his children and entire investments / life savings and to crown it all, he had an incurable disease that was gradually eating him up..
In all these, he never cursed God. He kept the faith even inspite of depressing comments from friends and family, and then, God remembered him and brought good times back to him

Job 42:10bMSG
God restored his fortune – and then doubled it!
Whaoo?
?
Job 42:11 All his brothers and sisters and friends came to his house and celebrated. They told him how sorry they were, and consoled him for all the trouble God had brought him. Each of them brought generous housewarming gifts. (No wonder our elders say, “success has many friends..”
Job 42:12 MSG
God blessed Job’s later life even more than his earlier life. He ended up with fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand teams of oxen, and one thousand donkeys.
Job 42:13 He also had seven sons and three daughters.
?When God restores, it wipes away all the pains of “yesterday”
✔Job 11:16 MSG
You’ll forget your troubles; they’ll be like old, faded photographs.
?
Regardless of the kind of setbacks you’ve had previously, God is bringing good and better times back to you. What God is going to do now, will wipe off any memory of the pains of “yesterday” in Jesus name
