In the past 3 days, we have been talking about men who refused to embrace the status quo…men who “shot” back.

Numbers 13:27 MSG
Then they told the story of their trip:
Numbers 13:28 The only thing is that the people who live there are fierce, their cities are huge and well fortified. Worse yet, we saw descendants of the giant Anak.
Numbers 13:29 Amalekites are spread out in the Negev; Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites hold the hill country; and the Canaanites are established on the Mediterranean Sea and along the Jordan.”
Numbers 13:30 Caleb interrupted, called for silence before Moses and said, “Let’s go up and take the land – now. We can do it.”
Numbers 13:31 But the others said, “We can’t attack those people; they’re way stronger than we are.”

God had instructed Moses in V1 to send spies to Canaan. This was a land promised to them by God.
❓12 spies were sent, yet, they saw different things.
While 10 saw insurmountable challenges & obstacles, 2 saw opportunities yet untapped.

?As they were all being debriefed, the narratives of the 10 were enough to weaken the hands of the entire nation, but, while this was going on, Bible said in V30… Caleb interrupted, called for silence before Moses and said, “Let’s go up and take the land – now. We can do it.”?

✔Caleb interrupted and called for silence.
✔Caleb shot back immediately not allowing them to “land”.

Brethren, words are powerful. They can either strengthen the hearer, build moral or weaken the hands and resolve of the hearer.
✔Don’t allow anyone or anything browbeat you into submission.
✔Don’t allow the nagging words of the enemy run you aground or weaken your hands.
?
The Word of God can counter every negative situation and restore all things to God’s factory setting.
?If ill-health is speaking to you, shoot back.
?If you have fear of losing your job, ask God for direction, perhaps, you were created to be a renowned entrepreneur.
?If you don’t like what is unfolding before you, shoot back and change things.
?If things are generally not working in your favour, get on your knees and alter the cause of action.
?No one ever made it standing aloof.
Shoot back with the confidence of one who is a conqueror.??
Caleb said, “Let’s go up and take the land – now. We can do it.”
That’s the mentality of a conqueror. You are even more than a conqueror. Go out today, armed with the Word and shoot your shot in the direction of all negative appearances and you will come back home rejoicing in Jesus name????????
