Matthew 5:14, 16 AMP
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden…. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.”
LET’S TALK
Have you ever thought about the true meaning of success? It’s not making an “A” in class, because there are many who made “A’s” in class and later became failures in life. Life has them on the sidelines, because they didn’t realise that the real game of life isn’t in the classroom but outside it.
First, success is impacting the world with the investment of your personality. To be a success, you’ve got to make an investment in yourself, not in things, because success is not measured by what you possess but by the quality of your personality, your thinking processes and your words. So don’t be so concerned about having things; work on being something, and impact others with the investment of your personality instead.
Secondly, success is influencing the world around you to think like you and aspire to your inspiration. You become a success when you’re able to awaken others to think like you. And why should they think like you? Because you’ve made the right investment of God’s Word in your personality! Now you’ve got excellent thinking and excellent ideas, and you want to influence the world around you to think the same way.
Thirdly, it’s making the world around you better than how you met it. You come into a place and you’re challenged by their difficulties and motivated to action. You’re inspired to make your world better than the way you met it. You become a champion who wins notable victories for his or her people. That’s success!

Speak
I’m a success. God’s Word in me has made me a light to my world. I influence others with the good investment of my personality and they want to talk and act as I do. I’m an example of a believer to everyone in my world, in Jesus’ Name.
Act
Meditate on what Apostle Paul told Timothy in 1 Timothy 4:11-12.
