American contemporary gospel artist, Chris Tomlin released the official lyric video for “THANK YOU LORD” featuring Thomas Rhett and Florida Georgia Line.
The track “THANK YOU LORD”, will be featured on Tomlin’s upcoming album, Chris Tomlin & Friends, which was also executive produced by Florida Georgia Line. Chris Tomlin & Friends will be available digitally on July 31 and a physical album will be released on August 28.
The release of this video comes subsequently to the announcement of the track listing for CHRIS TOMLIN & FRIENDS just some days ago.
Chris Tomlin said of “THAN YOU LORD”:
“For me, this record is a step towards breaking down the walls of the Christian genre and allowing the music to be accessible to a wider audience,” . “That’s my understanding of the Gospel. Music about faith, God, salvation and forgiveness doesn’t only have to come from the Christian genre.”
Chris Tomlin has been a very consistent force on the American and international gospel music scene as he has received 23 GMA Dove Awards as well as a GRAMMY award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Award for his 2012 album, “AND IF OUR GOD IS FOR US”.
