The fourth edition of Ghana National Gospel Music Awards (GNGMAs) has been launched in Accra on 25 September.
Unlike previous editions, the launching of the 4th edition held in the National Capital of Ghana, Accra.
Since its establishment, the National Gospel Music Awards has become a flagship awards scheme for the Gospel music fraternity with many looking forward to it each year.
It has so far awarded over 80 musicians with Celestine Donkor holding the forth as the reigning Gospel Artist of the Year.
The launch of the fourth edition was held at the Greeenline Juice & Smoothies in Accra with special guests including the Minister of Tourism, Arts And Culture, Acting President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Gifty Adorye, Rev. Obaapa Christie and delegations from the Creative Arts Council, Pentecostal Council of Churches.
After the successful launch of the National Gospel Music Awards 2020 in Accra, organizers of the awards scheme, Global Expert Recoveries, have announced timelines for activities leading to the main event in 2021.
Nominations for the flagship awards scheme for the Gospel music fraternity was opened from yesterday September 28, 2020. Follow https://ngmagh.com/ to file a nomination.
Interested parties will file for nominations via the official website.
The filing of nominations will close on November 14, 2020, making room for sorting and verification of potential nominees by the board.
The nominees’ list for the National Gospel Music Awards 20 will be released on December 21, 2020.
This will pave way for voting for various nominees to begin on December 22, 2020, via the website.
The event’s venue is, however, yet to be announced.
Winners in various categories for this year’s awards will be determined by 40% public, Board 40%, and 20% Academy votes.
The Ghana National Gospel Music Awards is organized by Global Expert Recoveries with support from BTM Africa, eTV Ghana, Steaman Group, the Multimedia Group, Rockson Ransford Hospital, MUSIGA, Jonab J. services, UGN, Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards, and Gospel Bloggers Association.
