Sonnie Badu, an accomplished Ghanaian gospel music icon, founder and lead pastor of US-based RockHill Church has released his latest gospel music project he titled “Rhythms of Afrika”.
Known to portray his African identity in his music established even in the title of most of his albums (Colors of Afrika, Soundz of Afrika to now Rhythms of Afrika), Sonnie’s 4th album is nothing short of musical excellence as well as a praise and worship experience.
The 12-track “Rhythms of Afrika” is a great addition to the already vast repertoire of gospel music from the Baba singer who decided to remix some of his already known gospel hits such as African Medley Ese Oluwa, Rejoice, Okokroko, and Angels Cry.
Before the main album release, Sonnie Badu created great anticipation with “My Confidence” single released last month, a soothing and passionate cry of faith in who God is.
The music professor desires to restore the attitude of praise and worship through the difficult last year 2020 and to remind us of the fellowship we shared with God through his music as a medium.
