✝️ Devotional Message
On April Fools’ Day — a day the world has designated for tricks, deception, and the joyful humiliation of people who believe things too easily — God wants to remind you of a truth that is no joke. No trick. No prank. Just the plain, stunning, unalterable reality of how He feels about you.
He has thoughts about you. Right now. Active, specific, personal thoughts — directed at you, concerning your life, your situation, your future. And those thoughts — every single one of them — are thoughts of peace. Of good. Of a future. Of hope.
Now here is what makes this so remarkable. Jeremiah 29:11 was spoken to people in captivity. To people who had watched their city fall, their temple burn, and their community scattered. To people who had every earthly reason to believe God had forgotten them. And into that precise context — not after deliverance, but in the middle of exile — God speaks: I know the thoughts I have for you. And they are good.
Andrew Wommack teaches that God’s goodwill toward you is not conditional on your performance. It is not a reward for a good week. It flows from His nature — because God is good, His thoughts toward His children are good. That is not theology you earn. It is a reality you receive.
Flourish Peters would say — stop letting the enemy narrate your future. The one who knows your future is not your fear. It is not your past. It is not your bank account. The One who knows is the One who planned it — and He says the plan is good.
You are not a fool for believing this. You are a believer. And what you believe about God’s intentions toward you will fundamentally shape the life you live.

Father, I receive Your thoughts toward me today — thoughts of peace, of good, of a future and a hope. I refuse to let fear, doubt, or my past paint a different picture. You know what You have planned for me, and I trust You completely. I align my thinking with Yours today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
