In light of the passing of Mrs. Ibidunni Ighodalo, the wife of Trinity House senior pastor, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, some Nigerian gospel artists have taken to social media to do their tributes to a dear friend.
Some of these artists and gospel music ministers include pastor Nathaniel Bassey, AnnySings, Sammie Okposo, TY Bello, Laolu Gbenjo, and Mairo Ese amongst others. For some of them, their tributes were just photos of the deceased chronicling some of her great qualities as well as the legacy she left behind.
For some other artists, most notably Mairo Ese and Laolu Gbenjo, they recorded solemn worship sessions in hour of her passing.

Heard this yesterday, the passing of sister Ibidun, and to be honest, I decided to just sleep till I was strong enough to process it. Just so much happening this season. I’ve had a few known folks pass this season. But you see, for a believer, we go home. We don’t die per say. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints.
I’ve known Pastor Ituah for years, and can only imagine how this hits. Father keep and strengthen your son. Keep the children and comfort the family, friends and us all.
But we rejoice in HOPE ! Knowing we shall all see BY HIS GRACE to part no more. “And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world.”

And then there were the worship videos by Mairo Ese and Laolu Gbenjo.
Minister Lolu Gbenjo also posted a video of him recording a solemn hymn in memory of Mrs. Ighodalo on his Instagram TV with a caption that simply said “Sleep well”.
The loss of Mrs. Ibidunni Ituah-Ighodalo was definitely a major blow to many Nigerians especially the Christian community. However, we rest in the knowledge of the fact that she died in Christ and is in a better place where we shall all meet on the resurrection morning.
