Osinachi Nwachukwu was a Nigerian gospel singer who tragically passed away on April 8, 2022. Her death sparked widespread outrage and concern about domestic violence, as her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, was accused of maltreating and brutally killing her.

According to reports, the Singer suffered severe physical abuse, including being kicked in the chest by her husband, which allegedly led to her death.

Osinachi’s husband Nwachukwu was found guilty by Justice Njideka Nwosu-Iheme of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court, located in Wuse Zone 2, during the trial of the husband, which was brought before the court by the Office of Attorney-General of the Federation (OAGF).

The defendant was charged with twenty-three counts by the Federal Government, including culpable homicide with a death sentence, criminal intimidation, cruelty to children, and spousal battery.
