Devotional : WALK IN OBEDIENCE – Jerry Eze

WALK IN OBEDIENCE

“And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.”
(John 9: 1)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture reveals that Jesus saw a man who was blind from birth. Jesus had sight, and He saw a man who had no sight; Jesus was God wearing human flesh; He was essentially God. So God had vision, and came in contact with humanity that lacked vision. There was something missing in humanity.

Jesus later anointed the eyes of the blind man and sent him to wash his eyes at Siloam, after which the man was healed. Jesus gave an instruction to the blind man, and the obedience to that instruction turned the situation around. The obedience of humanity towards divinity caused a restoration of what was missing in humanity.

Friend, your obedience to divine instruction is a key to your advancement; the more you obey God, the more He unleashes heaven’s resources upon you; the more you live in obedience to God, the more He opens up your life for uncommon divine manifestations; the more you obey God, the more He orchestrates your movement to the next level, and the more your path shines brighter and brighter. Your obedience to God is your divine promotion.

Your disobedience to God won’t add any value to your life; it won’t fetch you sustainable progress; it won’t open the doors of heaven to you, or usher you into the abundance you seek. Disobedience can turn the grounds of your destiny against you, it can push you down, make a mess of your future, and effectively reduce your destiny to nothing.

Make a choice to live in full obedience to God; and always remember that disobedience to God will work against you sooner than later.

Isaiah 1 vs. 19 says: “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:”

Declare With Me: I choose the path of obedience to God; no more disobedience, in Jesus’ name!
