According to a message by the chairman of FOGMMON Lagos, Pastor Tosin Martins, the kidnappers have reduced the ransom for the release of gospel music minister Joel Benson to 5 million Naira and have also given a dead line of 10 am today, July 18th. In a whatsapp broadcast the Tosin Martins said;

Greetings brethren.
Mrs Benson has just made a distress call to me saying the kidnappers called only a little while ago and have threatened sternly to move their base if by 10am tomorrow they don’t have N5M (Five Million Naira).

The implication is tracking them to save Joel will become more difficult and Joel’s health which is currently bad can get worse.

Thankfully she has been able to raise N2M (Two Million Naira) so we are left with N3M (Three Million Naira) to support.

Please let’s all treat urgently as we have a deadline of 9am tomorrow Monday morning (18th July 2016), before 10am when she will have to speak with his abductors.

We have asked for a ‘minimum’ of 3k per person and 10k from our senior members and all who are able. (Minimum please, so do more if you can). Please let’s act immediately I beseech each and all and let’s also continue to pray.
