American contemporary Christian music artist, and two-time GRAMMY award winner and multi-platinum selling artist Lauren Daigle performed her mega-hit “You Say” on the ‘American Idol’ finale with the show’s Top 5 finalist Just Sam virtually joining in. Daigle’s appearance on the ABC singing competition show was recorded at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN.
The song, “YOU SAY” is one of the star’s mega hit singles.
Daigle is no stranger to the show, having auditioned for ‘Idol’ in 2010 and 2012; however, she was eliminated before the semi-finals each year.
Her debut full-length album, How Can It Be, was released in 2015 and earned a No. 1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. In 2018, Lauren released her long-awaited album, Look Up Child, which debuted at No. 3 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and No. 1 on the iTunes all-genre chart.
Lauren returned to ‘Idol’ last season to serve as a special guest mentor for the contestants.
