This week, GRAMMY award-winning platinum-selling artist Lauren Daigle celebrates a career milestone. Billboard just announced her recent album, Look Up Child, was on the Top Christian Albums Chart for a record-breaking 39 weeks at # 1. Daigle’s collection now surpasses The Beautiful Letdown by Switchfoot as the longest-running album on the chart’s # 1 place since its inception in April 1995.
Daigle’s Look Up Child premiered on September 2018 at # 1 on Top Christian Albums and # 3 on the all-genre Top 200 chart from Billboard. With 10,000 equivalent album units earned this previous week, the record continues to have important traction, marking 925,000 units earned to date. A highlight of the compilation is the “You Say” crossover hit that has now been on Hot Christian Singles for 51 weeks at # 1.
