Famous Nigerian gospel singer Stacy Egbo turns 50 today. On this special jubilee, Stacy Egbo will perform an online Thanksgiving concert by 10pm GMT (West Africa, UK)/ 4pm CST (USA) together with Tim Godfrey, Joe Praise, Dee Jones, Uche Agu and Palmira Mmerife.

Born on the 7th July, 1970, Stacy Egbo is a mother of 8 children (5 biological and 3 adopted) and a grand mother of 2. Stacy graduated as a nurse and went into communities as a missionary lending her skills and services to people in pain. She has visited over 40 cities around the world and has taken care of thousands of sick and mentally ill patients.

Stacy Egbo lives in Richmond, Texas USA with her husband Pastor Tony.

At the age of 7, Stacy led her first worship session at a church with over 700 congregants. In one of her interview with Voyage Houston Magazine, she said

I remember feeling that this is natural, this is where I am supposed to be. My ministry started that day and has evolved into a multinational ministry that it is today.

I also remember being prayed for by my college Pastor and he told me that God has called me to bring joy to His people and to put a smile on their faces. I thought it will be only through music but over the years God has truly used me to be a blessing to so many all over the world.
