“So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.” (Ezekiel 37: 7)That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.God commanded Ezekiel to prophesy to the dry bones, and when he did, the bones all came together. So the bones first received life and began to move. God planted life in the bones, so that they can arise. The flesh of those dead men had all decayed, but their bones survived, and God began by putting life in the bones. A first level of life was planted in the bones, which would not be destroyed even if the flesh were to be destroyed.Friend, if you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, then you belong to that generation that was designed to have the breath of life in their bones. You belong to the generation was designed to have the fire of God burning in their bones. You belong to the generation that should have a reservoir of life right within their bones. You belong to the generation that has life in places where the enemy cannot destroy.God says, you were born to burn. You were born to be a carrier of life. You were designed to be a life giving spirit. You were raised to give people around you life. You were anointed to distribute the life of God to your generation. You were divinely capacitated to be a conduit for the life of God to flow into situations and circumstances around you. You were specially chosen by God to blaze with heaven’s fire right within you.Guard the life of God in you jealously. Secure your inner man with everything you have in you. Guard the fire of God that lives in you. Protect the sanctity of what God has planted inside of you. Fan the fire of God in your inner man into flames through prayers and deep intimacy with God. Savour the spiritual fire that divinity has deposited in you. Grow the fire that God put in you.Remember, Prophet Elisha died, but the life that remained in his bones later raised a dead man back to life. Don’t be a dry bone with no life on the inside. Get more life in you. Get more of God in you.Jeremiah 20: 9 says: “Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name.
