“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Zechariah 4: 6)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
The vision that Zechariah saw was not for himself; it was for Zerubbabel. God placed a divine burden on Zechariah because of an assignment that another man needed to accomplish; God opened the eyes of Zechariah to see a vision that would direct Zerubbabel on how to complete his mission. God sent an angel to awaken Zechariah for the sake of Zerubbabel. One man was awakened for the sake of another man’s advancement.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: for your sake, men will be awakened from their sleep. For your sake, men will see visions that will show you the way to go. For your sake, God will place burdens on people you may not even know so that they will power your success. For your sake, the ‘Zechariah’s of this world will be disturbed by angels of God so that your mission can be a success. For your sake, kings and nobles will lose their sleep.
Zerubbabel had a mission to accomplish, and that mission was backed by the word of the Lord sent through Zechariah. God put something in the hands of Zechariah, so that Zerubbabel can succeed. Hear me as I hear the Lord: God will put things you need in the hands of people that will deliver same to you. God will cause people you know and those you do not know to become messengers of your advancement and success.
Zechariah was a prophet. So the success of Zerubbabel became the burden that God placed on the shoulders of a prophet. Get set: your mission is about to receive prophetic backing. You will be backed up by the word of the Lord by the mouth of His prophets. You will be divinely backed up. You will be divinely assisted. You will receive help from people without asking for it. You will receive help for results and precision.
Ask God to place your matters as a burden on the shoulders of the ‘Zechariah’s of this world. Ask God to put what you need in the hands of men that will deliver same to you.
Isaiah 60: 10 says: “And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.”
Declare With Me: Men shall bear the burden for my success, in Jesus’ name!
