“So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.” (Ezekiel 37: 10)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
In our Focal Scripture, Ezekiel speaks of how he prophesied according to God’s instruction, and the entire dry bones in the valley came back to life as an exceeding great army. God did not raise the dead men to life so that they can live a normal life. They were raised as an army. They were raised to function as an army. An army serves to defend a territory and attack invaders. So they were raised to defend a territory from invaders.
Friend, you belong to that generation that God raised as an army. God did not raise you to be a mere civilian that watches invaders come in and destroy a territory. God raised you to be the gatekeeper that will stop the invasion of the enemy. God raised you to stop negativity from flowing into your family, workplace, city, nation, etc. God raised you to defend those connected to you through your prayers. God raised you for war.
Soldiers do not only serve to defend. They also serve to attack. In this season, arise and attack every stronghold of the enemy. Speak against every satanic altar that is operating within your environment. Speak against every messenger from the pit of hell that is plotting to destroy what you have put together. Arise against every community of spiritual wickedness in high places. Arise and raise a standard against the enemy.
Every soldier understands that you are either on one side or on the other side. There is no place for sitting on the fence for a soldier. If you have once sat on the fence in your walk with God, now is the time to stop. If you have lived as both hot and cold, now is the time to stop. Embrace your destiny as one whom the Lord has anointed to thresh the mountains like wheat. Arise and be the mighty man of valour you were raised to be.
Remember, they were raised as an army, to fulfill a purpose. Always remember that God raised you for a purpose. You were born for such a time as this, to fulfill a heavenly agenda.
2 Timothy 2: 3-4 says: “3. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”
Declare With Me: I was raised a warrior; I will fight like a soldier of Christ, in Jesus’ name!
