Children indeed do have a way of introducing joy and laughter wherever they are, no matter how sad or moody you are, sometimes coming in contact with a child can be all you need to to be rejuvenated.

In the video below, the children of Watoto-a church in Uganda has proven that children have the capacity to light up the world.

It was almost impossible for anyone not to be encouraged by the communicable smiles and message of hope delivered by the Watoto Children Choir during their visit to the Baga Valley over the weekend.

The children from Uganda, backed by a few adult musicians, performed to appreciative crowds in Pambula and Baga from 24^th to 26t^h of August.

The performances were hosted by the Pambula Baptist Church and Sapphire Coast Resonate Church in a gospel revival-type gatherings, held at Lumen Christi Catholic College on a Friday night and Sunday morning.

The smiling kids who sang and danced to funky music on stage had the crowd nodding and grooving along.

There were also presentations throughout to share the message of Watoto – a church in Uganda delivering education, trade skills and a supportive community to some of the region’s vulnerable.

Also, there were stories of the day-old babies abandoned, children who lost their parents to rebel fighting, or even a mother whose partner was in a traffic accident. In each case, the ministry was able to offer a home and skills to them.
