?
And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys…and pitched in Rephidim and there was no water for the People to drink”.(Exodus 17 vs 1).
?
when the Israelites chose to make Rephidim their abode, they soon encountered a challenge.
?There at Rephidim, they had no water to drink and endured a whole lot of hardship.
Their rest soon turned into discomfort.❌
? Rephidim, when interpreted means “A PLACE OF REST”. Scriptures said they pitched their tent in Rephidim.
❌They ” tabernacles” in a place called Rest.
❌They relaxed in their comfort zone, but, soon after, discovered there was no water and realized that something was conspicuously missing…their ” rest ” in a Place of Rest soon became a misadventure and a nightmare.?
?The relaxation in their comfort zone threw up or attracted a fresh problem.
? Are you getting used to your comfort zone?
It is only a matter of time before new challenge show up.
?I know you are making huge progress in your Career, Business, Ministry, Marriage, Academics etc. God says, its not yet time to rest on your oars…the moment you start relaxing, things will go awry. There is no such thing as maintaining the status quo, you are either moving forward or declining!
Amos 6vs1 warns “Woe to them that are at ease in Zion…”.
Thomas Edison also said, “We shall have no better conditions in the future if we are satisfied with all those we have in the Present”
?
We cannot become what God wants us to be by remaining what we are.
?Nobody has ever died of discomfort, but living in the place of rest and comfort has killed more ideas, more opportunities, more actions, more growth than everything else combined!
?
You will not be comfortable with less of what God has for you.
?Whatever makes men settle with the status quo will not prevail over you.
You will keep advancing till you get to your very final destination in Jesus name??????
