Tim Tebow return to the limelight, not in the football field but as an advocate of Christianity, in a new book release On How To Handle Disappointment and Success which will be available in October this year.He was welcome with great happiness by his fans and Christian bookworms who love to read his personal accounts about faith and perseverance. His memoir “Through My Eyes” was best-seller in 2011
A former Heisman Trophy winner at the University of Florida, Tebo at age 28, has at least managed to stay successful off the field after his NFL career ended. Since 2012 he has not been able to play, and his most recent chance with a team ended when Philadelphia Eagles cut him from the roster last September.
After a successful four-year career at the University of Florida, Tebow was taken in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. However, the Broncos traded Tebow to the Jets after just two seasons, despite sparking the Broncos to a 7-4 record and a stunning overtime win over the Steelers in the playoffs in 2011.
Unfortunately, he was later deemed surplus to requirement after Denver signed Peyton Manning and struggled to find a starting spot during stints with the Jets, the Patriots, and the Eagles.
Tebow’s pre-game prayer poses made him known beyond NFL, and sparked public thoughts about his strong faith to God.- he would kneel and bowed his head as if in prayer, arm resting on the one bent knee.
In recent years, Tebow has worked as a college football analyst for ESPN’s SEC Network. He was also awarded the stamp to “Tebowing” after winning a legal battle with two fans who wanted to trademark the name.
