Mukeke is a Yoruba gospel mix that features a harmonic blend of two musical
cultures: indigenous Yoruba music culture and Western rap culture.

This song is a spirit lifter that opens up our minds to see God’s
faithfulness all around us. “I hope to make the world, particularly the
Nigerian people to see and embrace God’s blessing, appreciate his grace and
celebrate his faithfulness. Most times we only see the negative things
around us. Those things has d ability to created fear and hatred in and
around us but if only we can try to see, we’ll see that God load us with
daily benefit that could not be bought.”

Mùkeke was written in 2013 by ‘Debayo. According to him, every sound in the
music are products of musical pictures created and developed within his
mind between 2013 and 2015. However, he give God all the glory.

“I thank God for the song. He is my inspiration. I must say that the effort
of EMDEE who produced the work, alongside the contributions of T-Praiz and
M.O are major factors to the success of this piece.
