“Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation.” (Daniel 2: 16)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
In our Focal Scripture, Daniel requested that he be given time to show the king the interpretation of his dream. By Daniel’s request, the solution that the king wanted would emerge in a matter of time. By Daniel’s request, time was going to lead to the unveiling of solutions. Time was going to yield useful results; time was going to lead to progress in the king’s matter; time was going to push forth the solution of Nebuchadnezzar.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: time will unveil uncommon results in your destiny. Time will unveil new heights for your destiny; the passage of time will come with new insight; the passage of time will yield unimaginable results that will blow your mind; the passage of time will usher you into new realms you never imagined you would be in; the passage of time will give you opportunities to serve the kings of this world.
Daniel asked for time, and he got a solution that made him relevant to the king and to other kings that came afterwards. He got one solution, and it launched him into the mountain of relevance and influence. Hear me as I hear the Lord: time will usher you into the mountain of relevance and influence; time will take you into your high places; time will bring you to a point where you will be very highly sought after.
Daniel sought the face of God during the time he got from the king. So, the result he got was a function of what he did with his time. His result came from what he put into his time. What are you doing with your time? What value are you adding with the passage of time? What improvements are you opening yourself to as time passes by? What are you becoming as time passes by in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years?
Remember, what you are about to become is tied to what you do with your time. Make the most of your time, and time will work for your good.
Ephesians 5: 16 says: “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
Declare With Me: I will invest in my time; time will work for me, in Jesus’ name!
