Today, Kari Jobe releases a live performance video of “First Love / Embers (Spontaneous) / Obsession” featuring Cody Carnes, which can be viewed below.
The performance was recorded live in Nashville, TN at The Belonging Co.
Kari Jobe was born in 1981, in Waco, Texas, to parents Mark and Caroline “Sandy” (née Bragg) Jobe and was raised in Watauga, Texas, and Hurst, Texas; both suburbs of Fort Worth.
She began singing at the age of three and became a Christian at the age of five. As she grew older, she attended Oral Roberts University, Christ for the Nations Institute and Dallas Baptist University
She became known with the successes “Revelation Song” and “Holy Spirit” released in 2009.
The Belonging Co was founded in 2014 by husband/wife pastors and native Australians Henry and Alex Seeley, and began as a ministry dedicated to meeting the unique needs of Nashville.
The church’s manifesto is:
“Encounter over entertainment, intimacy over industry, presence over presentation, people over position, and most of all, Jesus over everything.”
The Belonging Co gathers weekly and hosts an annual multi-day conference in downtown Nashville, attracting attendees from around the globe.
