Nigerian gospel music star, Mercy Chinwo, does her Trace Gospel takeover today, Saturday, May 23rd, 2020! Here, Mercy Chinwo takes us through her favorite playlists as well as music videos and she will also be sharing other aspects as well. Takeover times are 11am, 2pm, 5pm and 9pm local Nigerian time! It promises to be fun!

The Trace Artists Takeover, is a creative initiative by cable network Trace TV. It is a show where they bring on some of the viewers’ favorite artists, and interview them, and then have them “take over” the playlists for the duration of their interview. Trace TV usually does playlists daily, as their content is focused on video playlists, but during the artist takeovers, the guest artist selects their own preferred playlist.

This happens across all Trace TV’s platforms including Trace Gospel, and so during this COVID 19 season, they broadcast sessions with some of the viewers’ favorite gospel artists, and have them do a run-through of their favorite gospel tunes!

Mercy Chinwo is a multi award- winning Gospel artist with such notable works as “EXCESS LOVE“, “OMEKANNAYA” as well as visuals for “CHINEDUM“, “AKAMDINELU” and “OBINASOM“. No doubt, it would be fun watching her take over the Trace Gospel playlists today!
