Anne Wilson – My Jesus
Fast rising gospel singer/songwriter, Anne Wilson has released her debut project featuring songs “My Jesus,” “Devil,” and “Something About That Name.” Anne, who always dreamed of becoming an astronaut for NASA, had her aspirations flipped upside down on June 7, 2017 when her 23 year old brother, Jacob Wilson, died tragically in a car accident.
It was at his funeral that she sang in front of an audience for the first time and immediately realized what she was born to do. For Anne, Jesus is personal, and her music is a warm invitation to experience Him in the same intimate way.
Her rootsy sound reflects her strong southern upbringing and her admiration for country royalty like Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton married with the heart-on-your-sleeve transparency of Steffany Gretzinger and Lauren Daigle.
