11. And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst
of Samaria and Galilee. 12. And as he entered into a certain village, there met him
ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
(Luke 17: 11-12)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
Our Focal Scripture speaks of a village where Jesus met and healed ten lepers. The
name of the village was unknown, but ten lepers were healed therein; the destinies
of ten men were turned around for good therein; what Jesus did in the village was
spectacular and recorded in scriptures. The name of the village was unknown, but it
became a spot for uncommon miracles.
Friend, your name may be unknown, but significant miracles will happen in your life.
Your familys name may be unknown, but God will do outstanding miracles that will
put your family in the spotlight. You may not be as popular as your rivals, but God
says, something big is about to happen in your life, and it will resonate greatly.
Your finances, career, business, ministry, etc may not have a name, what you do for
a living may not have a name, etc, but God is about to grant you unique experiences
that will announce you. You may not have made a name yet, but God will grant you
experiences that will ring a bell.
Get set: for the shame of not having a name, God will grant you experiences that
generations after you will hear about and marvel. If Jehovah is involved, your
experience will exceed the sound of your name.
You need to go nameless so that the name of the Lord can be exalted in your life;
you need not have a name that rings a bell, so that God can do things for you that
will ring a bell. As it was for that village, so shall it be for you.
Pray With Me: Lord, though my name be unknown, grant me uncommon miracles, in Jesus
name!
