Renowned Nigerian gospel artist and minister, Nathaniel Bassey, has announced that another season of his famed Instagram live series, the HALLELUJAH CHALLENGE, will commence tomorrow Sunday, May 10,2020.
The HALLELUJAH CHALLENGE started in May 2017 with a simple post on his Instagram page where Nathaniel Bassey signaled his intention to start a 30-day midnight praise challenge throughout the month of June. It went on to become a social media frenzy attracting a very large audience.
As at the beginning of the maiden edition, CNN observed that around 68,000 people joined the Instagram live stream, while over 50,000 joined the Facebook live stream. In an interview which followed shortly after, Nathaniel Bassey told CNN:
“I had a sense which is the leading of the spirit to praise God the whole of this month,”
The HALLELUJAH CHALLENGE has however gone further to become one of the hallmarks of the Nathaniel Bassey ministry, with several more editions being done between May 2017 and now.
There had already been a prior edition earlier in the year, precisely February, which lasted the first 21 days. This new one is set to last 14 days from May 10th to May 23rd, 2020. The session would hold live on Nathaniel Bassey’s Instagram page as well a on his YouTube channel. Nathaniel Bassey, in a reposted message from the Instagram page of his church, stated:
