Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his
master, and honourable…he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.
(2 Kings 5: 1)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
Naaman’s story began from where he was a leper, but when his story was finally
concluded, it was a tale of a man who was healed of leprosy, and whose skin became
as good as new. Naaman began with leprosy, but he didnt end in leprosy. He began
with a load of shame, but that shame was taken away in a matter of time.
Friend, hear Gods prophetic word: every load of shame and disgrace in your life
will be taken away in a matter of time. The challenges you are facing right now will
give way in a matter of time; the roadblocks on your path will soon crumble; you
will soon break out of boundaries that are limiting you now; you will soon break
forth on all sides; whatever caused your tears will soon be overtaken by positive
events.
One day, you will look back and see that you are no longer where you used to be;
soon, you will look back and discover that days of lack now belong to your past; one
day you will discover that your health challenges have disappeared; one day, the
sore points of your life will become platforms for uncommon testimonies; one day,
God will wipe all your tears away.
Any leprosy in your life is in transit; God says, it will go in a matter of time.
If you have a relationship with God, then you have no covenant with negativity. If
Jehovah is involved in your life, its only a matter of time before your pains give
way to gains and your tears give way to laughter.
Cheer up; God is on the way. Your story is about to change for good.
Psalm 18 vs. 28 sums it up: For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will
enlighten my darkness.
Pray With Me: Lord, change my story for good; take away negativity from me, in
Jesus name!
