Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry
bones, hear the word of the LORD.
(Ezekiel 37: 4)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
In our Focal Scripture, God told Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones. Those bones had
no breath, they were dead and forgotten, but God told Ezekiel to speak to them. God
seemed to tell Ezekiel that those bones had ears. Ezekiel was a prophet, and the dry
bones had ears to listen to him.
Friend, in the realm of the prophetic, everything has an ear. The dry bones in
your life have ears; your career, business, ministry, academics, health, finances,
etc have ears; things may be going wrong in your city or nation, but God says, your
city and your nation have ears to hear your prophecy; everything that concerns you
has ears if you dare to step into the prophetic.
God says, speak to every dry bone in your life and command it to come back to life.
Speak to that marriage, career or business that is going down and command it to come
alive; speak prophetically to that erring child that is causing you pain and tears.
Speak restoration with compensation.
‘
Ezekiel prophesied to the dry bones, and they heard his prophecy and came back to
life. They were dry, lifeless, forgotten bones, with no hope of recover, their
recovery was humanly impossible; but Ezekiel prophesied and the dry bones heard and
obeyed.
If you dare to be prophetic, get set: your dry bones will hear and obey you. If
you speak to your dry bones and they dont hear, keep speaking; they will soon
hear and obey you.
Ezekiel prophesied, and God watched over the prophecy to see that it was fulfilled.
If there is a man to prophesy, there is a God who is willing to enforce the
prophecy. Speak to your dry bones now, and they will live.
Pray With Me: Lord, as I prophesy to my dry bones, may they receive life, in
Jesus name!
