The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
(Ezekiel 37: 1)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
The hand of the Lord came upon Ezekiel, carried him, and set him down in a valley full of bones. The hand of the Lord came upon Ezekiel, and took him to a place that wasnt interesting.
It was not the devil that carried Ezekiel to the valley of dry bones; it was the hand of God that took him there. God later used Ezekiel to bring the dry bones back to life. God had a purpose for bringing him to a place he may never have wanted to be in. Ezekiel was in the valley to fulfill a purpose.
Friend, there is a divine purpose for every valley of dry bones God allows you to come into; there is a purpose for any miracle He has not allowed to happen; there is a purpose for every disappointment or pain that God allows in your life; there is a reason for every low moment God allows.
Your low moments are destiny classrooms where you learn what God wants you to learn; some disappointments come to build your faith muscles; sometimes, your valley experience comes to push you closer to God; your valley may not be attractive, but there is something there for you to learn before you leave.
Men may mock you ignorantly while you are in your valley, because they have no idea about Gods purpose for bringing you there. They may think you are wasting your time, but soon, everything will turn in your favor.
Ezekiel did not remain in the valley forever; he exited the valley when his his purpose was completed. When Gods purpose in your valley is completed, you will exit the valley.
Ezekiels journey to the valley ended positively; get set, your journey to the valley will end in praise.
Pray With Me: Lord, show me the purpose for every valley you bring me to, in Jesus name!
