Gateway Church Pastor Robert Morris was airlifted to the hospital Sunday for emergency surgery. Debbie Morris, Robert’s wife, announced Monday he was back in surgery.
Both Debbie and Gateway Church kept churchgoers, family and more updated through social media.
According to Gateway Facebook posts, Morris had some complications over the weekend after surgery last Monday. He was then airlifted to the hospital where they discovered he had internal bleeding. CT results revealed he had a blood vessel bleeding in his abdomen and a blood clot the size of a cantaloupe. Doctors successfully stopped the internal bleeding.
“Pastor Robert’s surgery was successful in stopping the bleeding. Please continue to pray for no more bleeding and a quick and full recovery. Thank you all again for praying for him, Pastor Debbie, and the family. Your prayers are working!” Gateway Church posted on Facebook.
