STREAMS OF JOY DEVOTIONAL- BE A SERVANT 1

“When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,” (John 2: 9)That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When the ruler of the feast in Cana of Galilee tasted the water that was made wine, he didn’t know where it came from, but the servants who drew the water knew. That ruler of the feast enjoyed the new wine, but he didn’t know the source. He enjoyed the result but had no input into the process that birthed the result. So, we had one man of influence who loved the result, and servants who knew how to make the result happen.Friend, it may be prestigious to be a ‘ruler’, but dare to be that servant that knows the process. Be that man that will cause results to be birthed; be that man whose prayers will birth results for your generation; be that man whose depth in God will cause miracles to happen for people around you; be that man whose service to God and man will produce results for others; be that servant that is no stranger to the process. Those servants fetched the water, while Jesus brought the power. They became co-producers with Jesus. In this season, heaven is seeking for mere mortals who are willing to be co-producers with Jesus. Heaven is seeking those who can intercede and birth a new season for others to enjoy; heaven is seeking for those who will pray out the miracles that men need; heaven is seeking for men who care about wine for others, not for self.If that new wine at the marriage feast finished, those servants could have easily gone back to Jesus to produce more. Beyond the results, they had the advantage of knowing the formula for results. Men who choose to be servants will always know the formula when there is need for more. Men who roll up their sleeves that results be birthed will always know how to make the next result come forth with ease.Don’t be content to be a consumer of wine; dare to be a co-producer with heaven; dare to be that servant that is part of the process.Proverbs 12: 24 says: “The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.”Declare With Me: I am a servant, a co-producer with heaven: I know the process, in Jesus’ name!Follow on Instagram @jerry_ezeFollow on Twitter @jerrystreams
