UK Chart-topping Christian songwriter and worship leader Sarah Téibo releases a new single “SPIRIT COME”, available today on all platforms.
Written in a period of extraordinary global turmoil, “Spirit Come” is a heartfelt prayer for God’s spirit to move in these unsettling times, touching hearts, restoring families and bringing healing to nations.
This poignant worship song, produced by Goziam Okogwu, is also her first release after signing with eOne Nashville’s IndieBlu distribution platform.
British-born of Nigerian descent, Sarah is no stranger to writing and singing worship songs, having started leading worship in her early teens.
She currently serves as a worship leader at Kings Church, London. This new release, which shows a side of Sarah not often seen on her previous projects, reveals her authentic heart for worship and gives a taste of what to expect on her upcoming releases.
Currently one of the UK’s top female gospel music artists, Sarah first entered the global music scene in 2015 with her debut single “Steal My Joy”, followed by her debut album Walk With Me, which earned her a MOBO nomination and multiple awards including the prestigious Premier Gospel Awards’ Album of the Year.
Her sophomore album Keep Walking also saw her top the Official Sharts in 2018, making her the first female independent gospel artists to do so.
About her latest single, Sarah says:
“My hope for ‘Spirit Come’ is that for everyone who listens to the song, it would help them make deeper connections with God, as well as become a useful resource in their personal and corporate worship experiences.”
“Spirit Come” is the first single from her forthcoming worship project set for release in 2021, and is now available for streaming and downloading on all digital music platforms.
