‘AYANDA’ Movie Premiere in Lagos, Nigeria

The Movie premiere for ‘AYANDA’ is going to be on Friday, 22nd of July, 2016 at the Silverbird Galleria, Lagos. The event promises to be an eventful one.

‘AYANDA’ , the Multi Award winning movie tells the story of a young woman who was born to a South African mother and a Nigerian father. She falls in love with a Nigerian lover and they both have a visionary instinct to re-build the unimaginable business that has once lost its essence. The question left for viewers to answer is: Were the two love birds able to tunnel through their thundery challenges as they move to make their dreams become reality?

‘AYANDA’ is a 2015 South African film directed by Sara Blecher. The festival title of the film was Ayanda and the Mechanic. The film was picked up for a November 2015 release by independent film distribution company ARRAY.

Awards Won by Ayanda include: Special Jury Mention at LOS ANGELES, USA, Best actress AFRIFF, Best SCRIPT AMVCA, Best Script Writers Guild of South Africa, amongst other nominations.
