Nigerian gospel artist, Protek has released a new music project, which is an album titled COUNTER CULTURE. The artist, who is a renowned Christian hip hop virtuoso, brings a new dimension with this album which was dropped on Friday, May 1st, 2020 and is set to catch the attention of the current generation as it is embodies the youthful “vibe”.
COUNTER CULTURE is so carefully planned and organized in such a way as to challenge the listener to open up his or her mind to new possibilities previously untapped. It is a message for the “new wave” from God which is perfectly delivered in a relatable language.
The rapper, who is widely known for his Christian faith, and for using his talents specifically in propagating the gospel, also featured some big players in the Nigerian Hip Hop game including secular artists M.I. Abaga, Vector Tha Viper, as well as the Rooftop MCs, all of whom are widely regarded and respected for their great content.
Also featuring on the COUNTER CULTURE project, are UK based Naffymar, South African spoken word artist/rapper, Mercy Tschiamo, Eli-J, Limoblaze, Chize as well as young rising stars with amazing vocals, K3ndrick and Brain.
It is no doubt that this album has come from a place of deeply conceived thoughts and is set to blow minds and leave the reader with a new perception on things they thought they knew, as Protek has gone to great lengths and made maximum efforts to renew the listeners’ minds.
